How to clean and maintain the body and powder outlet of the coffee grinder on a daily basis?

In order to ensure the stable performance of the coffee grinder, extend its service life, and ensure the purity of the coffee flavor, daily cleaning and maintenance of the body and powder outlet are very important. During daily cleaning, first turn off the machine and disconnect the power to ensure safe operation. After the machine stops running completely, use a special coffee cleaning brush or a soft brush to remove the residual powder from the grinding disc, powder outlet, and powder receiving bin. Since the humidity sensor and electronic components are sensitive to moisture, it is recommended to wipe the body with a dry microfiber cloth and avoid using a wet cloth.

For the detachable powder outlet, you can gently rotate or press the buckle according to the instructions in the manual to remove it, wash it with warm water and neutral detergent, dry it thoroughly, and then reinstall it. When cleaning the grinding disc, you can use a special cleaning sheet for the grinder or a small amount of raw rice to put it in the bean bin, start the grinding mode to help absorb residual grease and fine powder, and clean the gap between the grinding discs with a brush again after completion. Finally, wipe the surface of the machine body with a slightly damp cloth that has been wrung out. Be careful not to let water seep into the internal circuit. Do not use alcohol or corrosive detergents to avoid damaging the coating or touch screen.

For regular deep maintenance, it is recommended to do it once a month. First, disassemble the grinding disc. Some high-end models support using the matching hexagonal wrench to loosen the fixing screws to remove the grinding disc, and then use a small vacuum cleaner or air blower to clean the stubborn residual powder in the gap between the grinding discs. When checking the humidity sensor, gently wipe the sensing area with a dry cotton swab to avoid dust accumulation affecting the accuracy. Some heavy-duty cast aluminum models also need to lubricate the bearings regularly, and a small amount of food-grade lubricant can be used.

In daily use, it is necessary to simply brush off the residual powder after daily use to avoid powder accumulation and agglomeration; check whether the powder outlet is blocked and clean the fingerprint of the touch screen every week. It is forbidden to directly rinse the machine body with water or use steel wool or hard objects to scratch it. At the same time, avoid grinding excessively greasy or high-sugar coffee beans to avoid adhesion to the powder outlet.

For common problems, such as blocked powder outlets, you can use a fine needle or a special powder-clearing tool to clear them. Do not knock hard. If the grinding uniformity decreases, it may be due to wear of the grinding disc or accumulation of residual powder, and the grinding disc needs to be deeply cleaned or replaced. If the touch screen fails, you can first turn off the power and restart it. If it still does not work, you need to contact after-sales service, which may be caused by moisture or static interference.
